The Corona Game

I was really struggling to create a game with all of the other software that was given. When I found scratch, it was really exciting because there were lots of tutorials about how to do certain things in your game. So I didn’t feel completely lost. Basically, the concept behind my game is to keep the corona virus bacteria away from the people to stop the spread. I used a paddle to bounce the ball off of it and keep it in the air. It’s pretty simple, but a silly concept! I was going to do some kind of game related to the election but that seemed a little too ~risky~ so I just stuck to the Pandemic LOL!

Each time the virus hits the paddle and stays in the air your score increases by one! But once the virus goes below the red line, near the people, your score stops increasing and you have to start over!!

Watching all of the tutorial videos really helped me to do exactly what I wanted in this game. I also take computer science and it was really cool to see the correlations between making the game and actually writing real code.

Here is the link to play, I hope you have a little fun! LOL
