I found this article to be really interesting. In the beginning I love how it explained Twitter in the same was as that Lawn in LA. A hacked space. Twitter blew up once people realized they had a voice in a place where they normally would not have.

Twitter is a place for people to grieve losses during tragedies and stand up for social injustice. It gives the people a place to make change in ways that were never possible before. There is a beauty in Twitter because of the algorithm allowing thousands of people to see tweets that go viral quickly. But Twitter also is a place where if you say the wrong there, people will cancel you. Literally. It’s a place full of judgement and people who think its “their way or the highway”.

I believe there is an etiquette that should be followed on Twitter to a certain degree. You should not comment where you don’t have the authority to comment. But what’s really cool is that if you mess up, there are people who are going to teach you what’s right. It’s a place to make mistakes but also to learn from them and learn to be a better human being.
